What is FFP2 ?

FFP indicates the level of respiratory protection for personal protective equipment. The FFP classification is used across disciplines from industry to medicine and research. Depending on the level of protection against dust and particles, 3 levels were created from the lowest 1 to the highest 3. Protective equipment classified in the FFP system is subject to special production processes and testing procedures. FFP2 ratings are usually used for facial half masks and simple respirators that completely cover the nose and mouth.
